Canada Music Week Awards Ceremony and Concert:  We are pleased, once again, to present awards to those students of teachers belonging to the ORMTA, B-B-C Branch, for exam and/or festival high marks in either voice, instrumental, and in music theory.  It includes a concert of those with the highest marks, performing as part of the event.  Congratulations to all participating students.  This is a public event, so we hope to see you there.  Admission is free, but there will be a donation box to help defray refreshments costs.

Wellspring Benefit Concert, Saturday, March 28, 2020
Once again, we will be holding a concert to benefit the Wellspring Cancer Centre - Chinguacousy, in Brampton.  This concert features ORMTA teachers and friends in concert, at North Bramalea United Church who are generously donating the use of their venue - many thanks.  Admission by donation to Wellspring Cancer Centre - Chinguacousy.  

ORMTA B-B-C Branch Festival, Saturday, May 2, 2020
Our music festival has been gaining a reputation for being positive and of high quality.  We take great care in selecting adjudicators, and giving ample time for adjudications.  Our team of teacher and student volunteers does a great job of running this annual festival.  Come back to this site for further updates, as we prepare for this event.

Brampton Chamber Music Concert Series (BCMCS)
The B-B-C branch sponsors BCMCS, a series that features professional and pre-professional musicians, in order to help promote both the musicians and classical music in the Brampton-Caledon area.  The 2019-20 Concert Series has been released.  All concerts also feature local senior students, who have auditioned to perform.

October 19, 2019;  Royce Rich, violin & Jeanie Chung, piano

All of our concerts will be held in the sanctuary of St. Paul's United Brampton.  All concerts start at 7:30pm & admission is by donations (pay-what-you-can).
