Looking Forward to Springing into Spring!
Music-Making! What a wonderful way to welcome spring - with the love of performing and listening!
We are looking forward to commencing the spring student performance activities with seasonal Audition Adjudications for voice, strings and piano in April:
Voice Auditions, with adjudicator Michael Faulkner : Sunday April 7th, 2024, at Carolynne Davy’s studio in Richmond Hill
Strings Auditions, with adjudicator Russell Iceberg : Monday April 8th, 2024, at St. Matthew’s United Church in Richmond Hill
Piano Auditions, with adjudicator Jennifer Hu : Monday ~ Wednesday April 8th ~ 10th, 2024, at Yamaha School of Music in Markham
From these Auditions, students will be invited to perform for the May 4th (strings) and May 5th (piano & voice) Branch Recitals. We are also looking forward to our special Awards Festivals in June. June 1st for strings, and June 2nd for piano and voice.
This year, our ORMTA Branch is hosting the
GTA Zone Competitions on
Saturday, May 4th, for both instrumental and vocal (Level 8/9 - Young Artist). Deadline for application to this prestigious event is Thursday, April 25th. For more information
