The ORMTA Greater Toronto Area Zone Competitions is an annual event featuring some of the most talented advanced music students in the GTA. Advanced students of ORMTA members can compete in one of five competitions by first qualifying at their local branch audition/assessment. Winners of the following competitions qualify to represent the GTA in an ORMTA Provincial Competitions:

- Young Artist (ARCT and up)

- Provincial Vocal (Level 9 and up)

- Provincial Instrumental (Level 10 and ARCT)

The 2019 ORMTA Greater Toronto Area Zone Competitions will take place on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at Yamaha Music School - 169 Enterprise Blvd., 3rd Floor, Markham, ON L6G 0A2


Students who wish to participate in the GTA Zone Competitions must first qualify at their local branch audition/assessment.

It is suggested that you use the GTA Zone Level AND Provincial Level application forms for your branch's audition/assessment session, and have the adjudicator sign ALL forms BEFORE you start your auditions/assessments. If your student qualifies to move on to the next level, this form will be forwarded on. 

All levels MUST have correctly filled out and SIGNED forms in order to qualify for competition.
