The results are in! Congratulations to all competitors (and teachers) for preparing such outstanding performances! Our 2024 Young Artist is Adam Zheng, from the Ottawa Region Zone. Adam will embark on a concert tour of the province before representing Ontario in the CFMTA National Piano Competition in Montreal next summer. Branches are highly encouraged to consider hosting a stop on the tour to support this young artist! The deadline to register to host a concert is September 30th. Contact our Young Artist Tour convenor for more details.

A warm welcome to our new Zone Reps! Gloria Jean Nagy (Ottawa Region Zone) will be managing the Young Artist Tour, Susan Blyth-Schofield (also the Ottawa Region Zone) is our new Competitions Convenor and Dawn Toombs (North Central Zone) is overseeing our Music Writing Competition. We are also happy to welcome Tania Granata into the role of ORMTA President, and Mary Lim as ORMTA's 1st Vice President.
