NOTES Magazine is the definitive information resource of the Ontario Registered Music Teachers' Association. With three issues annually (Spring, Summer, and Fall), NOTES offers interesting articles on pedagogical concepts and research, news on ORMTA activities and initiatives, and reviews of teaching materials - important information for the ORMTA member and wider music teaching community!
Ways to Receive NOTES:
Online (Free!) - the latest issues of Notes are available here at ormta.org (see left menu) for your viewing pleasure. ORMTA members and mailing list subscribers will be notified by email when a new issue is released.
Hard Copy/Paper Form:
- ORMTA members ($25/year) - added to annual membership dues if requested

All submissions must be received by the NOTES editor by the following deadlines: May 1 (summer issue), October 1 (fall issue), February 1 (spring issue). The editor prefers that all text be sent by email using Microsoft Word or as a PDF file. Reports from the Branches are limited to 400 words. Written reprint permission must accompany all text where applicable. High resolution digital photos in .jpg format are preferred. Email as attachments to the editor. Editor and ORMTA Provincial Council have full editorial authority.

Other than the latest issues available on this web site, ORMTA also supplies copies to the Canadian National Archives.
