Pedagogy Award Criteria

This award is presented annually to a student studying pedagogy with an ORMTA member in good standing, who receives the highest mark in Ontario in the written portion of their Associate pedagogy examination by one of the following conservatories: Canadian National Conservatory of Music, Conservatory Canada or the Royal Conservatory of Music. Marks must be 80% or higher.

NEW: Eligible ORMTA members are required to submit their name, along with their student's name(s) to the ORMTA Pedagogy Award Convener, Janis Danowski by March 1, 2021 in order to be considered for this award.

If successful, the student will receive a cash prize, certificate, feature in NOTES Magazine, and an invitation to ORMTA's Annual Awards Luncheon.
