Over the last 13 years, The Lotus Centre for Special Music Education has aimed to provide access to adapted music education for the neurodiversity and disability communities. The Lotus Centre offers one hour webinars, free of charge, on their website. The variety of topics include: Adaptions for Students with Learning Disabilities, Managing Teacher Burnout and Compassion Fatigue, Understanding ADHD and Finding Success in Music Teaching, to name a few. Once again, the New York Met is streaming live performances of their operas in theatres across the country. This year, the 2024-25 Season includes Les Contes d'Hoffmann, Tosca, Aida, Fidelio, Le Nozze Di Figaro, Salome and Il Barbiere Di Siviglia, some of these found in our history courses.

This is a fun and affordable way to expose your students to the wonderful world of opera, through a field trip to the theatre. Your students will love the experience!
