The 2025 Instrumental and Vocal Competition Rules will be available online in the next few days. There have been some small updates and we encourage everyone to read though all of the rules carefully. Online registration will open April 1st, 2025 and the deadline to submit applications is May 31st, 2025. Keep checking our website for updates on the location, schedule, adjudicator info, and prizes.

 

Every November, branches across Ontario celebrate Canada Music Week with student performances showcasing Canadian music. If you are still looking for some resources, or ideas on ways to celebrate, check out the Canada Music Week folder in the Member Documents. Unfortunately, we were unable to fill the CMW portfolio on Provincial Council and will not be accepting Canada Music Week reports this year but we still hope our members and their students will enjoy their local celebrations.

 

Students should also submit any artwork for the CFMTA Canada Music Week Poster Competition online, by November 15th.

 

Last year, ORMTA partnered with GoodLife Fitness to offer our members a discounted GoodLife membership. Due to low engagement with this program, this offer will expire on November 14th.
