HAPPY SPRING!
Music-Making! What a beautiful way to enjoy the cool and warming days of Spring! - with the love of performing and listening! We wish our students a wonderful year full of the joys of creating glorious sounds.
This year we will share many opportunities for our students' love of music. Our annual Spring Auditions are being held the last week of March / first week of April.
Piano: March 31, April 1,2 (Yamaha School of Music); Voice April 5th (Davy Studio); Strings, April 7th (St. Matthew's United Church)
Sunday, April 6th/25 afternoon: We are excited to announce a Public Masterclass event with clinician Aury Murray open to students presently studying with an ORMTA teacher.
Location: Richmond Hill Presbyterian Church, 10066 Yonge Street.
Application deadline is March 14th/25

Include your name and label “Masterclass fee” in the transfer memo. ($35 for level 4-7; $70 for level 8-Assoc.)
We look forward to creating a memorable and enriching experience for our students!
Our Branch Recitals for students who have participated in the Spring Auditions-Adjudications for Piano, Strings, and Voice will be held: Sat. April 26th for Strings; Sunday, May 4th for Piano and Voice; and we look forward to hearing some lovely performances.
Then our annual Awards Festival will be held for students who have received high standing from either the Fall or the Spring Auditions: May 31st for Strings; Saturday May 31st (evening) and Sunday, June 1st (afternoon and evening) for Piano and Voice.
Please note in your calendars our upcoming General Meetings and save these dates : Monday, June 9th, 2025 Location TBA. We welcome our members to come and share your ideas!
